IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA DI KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract


Prevalence of risk behaviors in adolescents has increased and worrisome impact. The main purpose of this study is exploring implementation of adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) programs, differences of knowledge and attitudes ASRH’s which is given by peer educators, teachers and parents. This research is using mixed method with concurrent embedded strategy. Qualitative research is a case study approach through in-depth interviews from the three groups. Quantitative research is analytical approach to look at the differences in both adolescents’ knowledge and attitude. Qualitative results found five themes ASRH Program which is the importance of ASRH, implementation process, inhibiting factors and support of ASRH programs and ASRH models development. Quantitative shows that there are differences in knowledge and attitudes about ASRH who have followed the reproductive health education program provided  by the peer educators, teachers and parents with p<0.001. The group has a good knowledge and attitude which are the majority in the peer group. ASRH program requires public’s promotion and dissemination to engage every element of society aware to raise the importance of ASRH education and their participation in the knowledge increase program such as ASHR’s attitudes and behavior to prevent teenagers won’t fall down to risky behavior.



Prevalensi perilaku berisiko pada remaja semakin meningkat dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya semakin mengkhawatirkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan program pendidikan Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja (KRR), menganalisis perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai KRR yang diberikan oleh pendidik sebaya, guru dan orangtua. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran (mixed method) dengan strategi concurrent embedded. Penelitian kualitatif dilakukan pendekatan studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam kepada tiga kelompok program KRR yaitu PIK-KRR, BKR dan guru. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan  pendekatan analitik untuk melihat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada remaja dari tiga kelompok program pendidikan KRR. Hasil penelitian kualitatif didapatkan lima tema mengenai pelaksanaan program pendidikan KRR yaitu alasan pentingnya KRR, proses pelaksanaan program, faktor penghambat dan pendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan KRR dan pengembangan model pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Hasil penelitian kuantitatif  terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang KRR antara remaja yang telah mengikuti program pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi yang diberikan oleh pendidik sebaya, guru dan orangtua dengan nilai p< 0,001. Kelompok yang mempunyai pengetahuan dan sikap baik yaitu mayoritas pada kelompok teman sebaya. Diperlukan promosi dan sosialisasi mengenai program pendidikan KRR kepada masyarakat sehingga meningkatkan kesadaran setiap elemen masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan sehingga dapat mencegah remaja tidak jatuh dalam perilaku berisiko.
